Case study - 01

Making compliance a conversation, not a chore.

UBS - Supervisory Compliance Platform

domain

Banking & Financial Services, B2B

Role

Lead UX Designer

duration

Sep 2025 - Jan 2026

the objective

UBS's legacy supervisory compliance portal buried Line Managers and Employees in fragmented data, delayed risk visibility, and manual tracking — creating operational drag and real regulatory exposure. The brief: turn a reactive, module-by-module system into a proactive, data-driven experience that helps managers catch risk early and act with confidence.

the snapshot

Reframed the platform around three questions people actually ask:

  • what needs action?

  • what needs attention? and

  • what context is required?

A fragmented, module-by-module portal became one unified “Me & My Team” view — with progressive disclosure and role-based scaling so employees and line managers each see only what's relevant to them.
